Wild Remain Sydney |
Wild Remain
Sydney was a “reject” who was returned to
Aurora Rubel (her breeder), because she was not
the show quality pup her original owners were
looking for. Susan Parsons got her from Aurora
when she was five months old (her original
owner’s loss!) She served seven years as Susie’s
primary working terrier. Susie has been a JRTCA
working judge for almost 15 years and has seen
many terriers work, but Sidney was one of the
most honest and reliable terriers Susie has ever
owned or worked with. Sidney was retired at age
11 and is now 13 and a great house dog! |

Old Souls Tatters |
Old Souls Tatters
was the runt of her litter, but no doubt the
mightiest. Cow-hocked and long in the back, she
was nothing special to look at, but what can you
expect of a pup bartered in trade for an
aebleskiver pan and a pair of boot socks, which
is what Susan Parsons “paid” for her? At barely
ten inches tall and ten pounds in weight, Tatty
was all heart and grit. Fearless and tireless in
the ground, she became a phenomenal working
terrier. The bond and respect Susan developed
with her through four seasons of terrierwork
grew strong and deep. Sadly, Tatty’s life was
cut short at the age of five years. Deeply
cherished memories of many great days in the
field live on. |

Rugby's Eden |
Rugby's Eden is a Norolk terrier and the
newest member of the La Mear family. Having
looked at many terrier breeds over the years,
Shirley was zoned in on owning either a Cairn, a
Norwich or a Norfolk - "I really wanted
that coat!". She had a lot of helping hands in
her 2 year journey to find Eden from Sue Ely in
Virginia to Sandy Stemmler in Missouri to
Lini Federici, Eden's breeder, in New Jersey.
"Eden is everything I hoped for and running she
and my Jack Russell, Toddy, through the
earthworks at Purina or walking through the
fields at home makes me wonder why I waited so
long to discover this tough, adorable little
breed. " |
